. . . . but if you are going to mug someone, I think it's smart to target people that aren't so likely to kill you. And so I find it really strange that a man who mugged some elderly women is being charged with a hate crime.

But on the third hand, perhaps we should arrange for legislation that applies stiff penalties if you mug anyone that isn't holding a loaded gun.

(I have no substantial yea or nay opinion about hate crime laws or gun control, I just think that including the elderly in hate crimes is interesting)
