OK, who's responsible. . . .
Samuel L. Jackson called me to encourage me to go see Snakes on a Plane. Unfortunately I wasn't home so I missed the first bit of his message. (Apparently he likes the sound of his own voice so much that he doesn't pause for answering machine messages.)
I would think it was a really funny general marketing campaign but since he knew Mark's name I'm kind of suspicious.
Vegas odds have Sean at 14 to 1.

It could be either:
- Mark's name is the one which your phone is registered to, so Samuel just redid all the calls with every possible first name
- Mark is on some nationwide Top 1000 geek list that they called, knowing geeks would spread the word about the movie
- Sean did it.
I think I'd bet on Sean too :).
